| Welcome to the home of The Muses: Team 362. We are an all girls team based in Los Angeles, CA. The Muses demonstrate the qualities of teamwork, presentation, and gracious professionalism with our dexterity, not only to construct a functioning robot, but also form camaraderie amongst a strong and dedicated team of girls. The Archer Muses are a passionate team consisting of 19 devoted young women. Our team name, The Muses, stems from a group of nine inspirational Greek goddesses who preside over the arts and sciences and inspire others to pursue these ambitions. Each year we name our robot a different Muse name; this year's robot's name is Thalia, which is the muse of comedy.
The close relationship amongst the team members demonstrates its productive efforts to create a sisterly bond, which enables us to influence other teams to exceedingly regard a high respect for science and technology. Our other efforts are to inspire other girl’s teams to take an interest in science and pursue women’s engineering. The growing amounts of all girls teams around the country constantly grows as does our confidence to participate in a male dominated competition.
